# Install the WebGL module

Add the WebGL module to the Unity Editor so you can publish your project for WebGL.

In this tutorial, you will add the WebGL module to an installation of the Unity Editor so that you can publish your project using WebGL.

## Overview

Follow this tutorial if you are using the WebGL Publishing package to build your project using WebGL, and you need to add the WebGL module to your project.

If you selected **Publish** > **WebGL Project** and saw the following image, then you're in the right place.

## Install the WebGL module in the Unity Hub

**Note**: You will have to restart your project to switch to the WebGL platform.

To install the WebGL module to an installation of the Unity Editor, follow these instructions:

**1**.  Open the Unity Hub.

**2**.  In the **Projects** tab, locate the project you want to add WebGL to, and find its Unity Editor version in the **Editor Version** column.

**3**.  Open the **Installs** tab of the Unity Hub and find the corresponding version of the Unity Editor.

**4.**  Select the **Settings** (**⛭**) button on the tile of the version you want to manage and select **Add modules**.

**5**.  In the window that appears, select **WebGL Build Support**, then select **Install**.

Return to your project in the Unity Editor.
