New group member here. Fairly experienced (was modding Quake over 2 decades ago, can code, etc.) generally, but very new to Unity.
I'm working through the FPSMicrogameTutorials. Really impressed by how easy and well-documented everything is. Kudos to the Unity team!
Before I move on to the next one, I was hoping to clarify the one bit of the "FPS Mod: Set up a new burst rifle weapon" tutorial that seems a bit odd.
I've followed all the steps carefully, but on step 17, I don't seem to get any (visible) movable GameObject that allows me to locate the 'Muzzle'.
"Muzzle" is created and is a child of Mesh_Weapon_1, which in turn, is a child of Weapon_Burstrifle.
In the 3D space 'Scenes' when I Select Mesh_Weapon_1 in Hierarchy, the gun is outlined in red. When I select Muzzle in Hierarchy, the red on the gun de-highlights, but there's no 'movable' point the way the tutorial screencap shows.
I've managed to successfully locate the Muzzle where I want it by trial and error of the 'Position' variables, until it shows in the right place in game.
<B>My question is; is there some 'visibility' or 'show in scene' flag somewhere that I've accidentally disabled, or anywhere else I should look?</B>
