Currently my main work is as a developer + designer in Unity, three.js, and Unreal. I put things I make that I think are useful on GitHub, including AlphaECS, yet another Entity Component System framework for Unity that uses UniRx for fully reactive systems and includes support for dependency injection (I use Zenject). It's a fork of EcsRx and heavily inspired by uFrame. Link: ​https://github.com/tbriley/AlphaECS I love learning about and experimenting with bleeding edge systems like ​Motion Matching​ animation systems and How AI Will Change the 3D Industry​, and building out my own practical tools like an ​EntityEventSystem​ for use with Unity’s DOTS framework. I read. Philosophy + economics. Science fiction + fantasy. Ayn Rand + Liu Cixin + Friedrich Hayek. I run for fun (often barefoot), have completed an actual marathon, and find Wim Hof entirely strange and compelling.
