I am a senior developer from Israel.
I have been developing games since I was 16, as a hobby and as a way to practice coding.
Most of my games have been developed in C++ which meant I spent most of my time on the technical part, and very little time on designing the game.
This was bound to fail and most of my games did fail.
Since discovering Unity, developing game has become a lot more enjoyable and productive. I can focus on the game itself and from time to time the core technology(ML, GPU stuff) and not spend countless hours on the technical and boilerplate part of deving in C++.
So I am both a new and old game developer, finally I get the chance to practice the art of game design.
