Part 3: Implementation and optimization

Before reading this section, make sure you have read Part 1 and 2 of this guide, which includes understanding DOD and figuring out your data design. Without an understanding of the goals of DOD and without data design that serves those goals, many of the techniques and optimizations described in this section are impossible to apply or they provide no performance benefits. However, with good data design, dramatic performance optimizations are possible.
