In this tutorial, you’ll learn about two advanced physics solutions available for projects that use Unity’s Entity Component System (ECS) framework: Havok Physics for Unity and Unity Physics. Important : This tutorial only applies to Unity 2022.2 Tech Stream and beyond, which will be reflected in the tutorial version in early 2023.

In this project, you will be introduced to some of the fundamental principles in the field of physics and how they are used to move objects around in the game environment. The relationships between time, velocity and acceleration will be investigated and then applied in the creation of an automated shooting tank that calculates the angle of it's turret based on parabolic mathematics and the position of an enemy.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to use the Physics Debugger.

In this project, you will have a chance to explore the physics involved in a catapult launch. Lessons on forces and energy will guide your exploration and a final challenge will test your knowledge. You will be manipulating multiple variables in the engine itself to produce changes in velocity, acceleration, distance and more! This project is powered by Enable Education. For assets in a 2D project to have a physical presence in the Scene and be able to interact with each other, they must have a 2D Collider. A 2D Collider is a component that helps define an asset’s physical shape to determine how it will interact with other colliders in a Scene. In this tutorial, you'll learn about the types of 2D Colliders you can use, and you'll apply a Collider to a GameObject.

The PhysX 3.4 upgrade in Unity 2018 LTS allows you to create multiple physics Scenes. In this project, you'll learn the basics of Multi-Scene Physics to create a "ghost" ship in the Hover Racer game.
