Well, you know, I’m not a car engineering expert either, but something tells me a lot depends on the shape of these vehicles and the materials they’re made from. Of course, no one would put an aftermarket bumper on a racing car, but aftermarket bumpers tailored for the 2010 Ford F150 are actually a super relevant upgrade to improve strength and safety. Back to racing, the sleeker the shape, the lighter the car, and the stronger the engine, the easier it is to reach huge speeds.

I don’t understand anything about how cars work, and I especially can’t understand how race cars are able to reach such huge speeds. And why other cars, normal ones, city cars or SUVs, can’t do that.
