In this tutorial, you will set up the Editor with the necessary packages to work the Hair Simulation System.  

Get Started with Hair Simulation

This project is an introduction to the simulation features of the hair system the Unity Demo Team developed for and used in the Enemies demo. It provides a high-level overview of setup and simulation features.

To follow this course, you will need Unity version Unity 2021.2 with a compute shader-enabled platform. 

You can find the 2021.2 version of Unity in the Unity Download Archive.

Important: You must use this specific version of Unity to successfully complete the project in this learning experience. 

You will also need the following packages: 

Hair System (Github/Unity Package Manager)

mesh-to-sdf (Github/Unity Package Manager)

Digital Human (Github/Unity Package Manager)

Here’s how to explore the packages you’ll need to work with this project:

1.  From the main menu, select Window > Package Manager.

2.  From the Packages dropdown, select Click the Add button and select Add Package from git URL in the drop-down menu.
