Unity 6 comes with a variety of new features and updates that make creating your projects much easier. In this course, we’ll take a look at the various UI enhancements and new Unity Editor features available to you. 

We’ll start by taking a look at the latest quality-of-life changes in the Unity Editor, like user interface improvements and new scene overlay functionality. Then, we’ll jump into some of the newer features such as Splines, Piercing Menu, Build Profiles and more. By the end of this course, you will become familiar with the latest tools and features available to you in Unity 6. 

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Navigate around ProBuilder’s new user interface.

Utilize the Splines package to place geometry and animate GameObjects.

Utilize the new Cameras Overlay to move cameras around a scene.

Use the new Piercing Menu to select specific objects in a busy scene.

Create and use Build Profiles for specific build targets.

Splines are a great way to create curves in Unity. Once a spline curve has been laid out, it can be used to instantiate GameObjects along its length, and even used to create animations along a path.
