We’ve designed this beginner course to be the start of your 2D journey: we’ll guide you step by step through creating your own 2D adventure game, with a choice of assets and options for customization along the way.

First, you will install Unity and explore the LEGO® Microgame. Then you will work on and customize a classic 2D platformer. Finally, you will modify and customize a Kart Racing game, all while mastering the basics of Unity. The 3D Game Kit allows you to create 3D platformer gameplay and puzzles in Unity without code. This document describes each component you can use in the Kit to create your game, including what the components do and what the settings in those components are. If you are new to Unity, we recommend you go through our Platformer , FPS , Karting , or LEGO® Microgame tutorials to familiarize yourself with the Unity interface and concepts.
