The Industrial Hub is a special version of the Unity Hub that includes Reflect integration plug-ins for other digital content creation tools such as Revit. Outside of this added feature, it isn’t functionally any different than the standard Unity Hub, and may be used in the same ways. Both the standard Hub and the Industrial Hub may be used on the same machine if desired; however, they must be installed in different file directories. In this tutorial, you will be guided through how to install the Industrial Hub and integrate the Reflect plug-in into Autodesk Revit.
- Locate and run the Unity Hub executable in the Reflect folder.
- If installing the Industrial Hub on a machine with the standard Hub already installed, select a directory other than Program Files/Applications to install in.
- If prompted by the message New Plugins Are Available, click Restart Now. This will ensure you have the most up-to-date Reflect plug-ins. (Figure 01).
