Cathy Hackl

Cathy Hackl, recognized as one of the Top Technology Voices on Linkedin, is a leading female futurist, author and business strategist specializing in the impact emerging technologies like AR, VR, and AI, are having on communications and business. She has worked in enterprise strategy, innovation, marketing strategy, and business evangelism with brands like UPS, HTC VIVE, Sony Pictures, Magic Leap, and Adobe.

Jeremy Nelson

As the Director of the Extended Reality (XR) Initiative at the University of Michigan, Jeremy works to leverage emerging XR technologies to strengthen the quality of a Michigan education, cultivate an interdisciplinary scholarly community of practice at Michigan, and enhance a nationwide network for academic innovation. Prior to joining the Center for Academic Innovation, Jeremy was the co-founder and managing partner for Afia Inc, an Ann Arbor-based healthcare consulting firm that worked with organizations across the country to assist in selecting and implementing technology solutions to improve processes and patient experiences.

Kwaku Aning

Kwaku Aning is the Director of the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking at the San Diego Jewish Academy. He works to develop project-based learning experiences utilizing robotics, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, and projection mapping He also recently produced four short 360 video documentaries for the United Nations on Fijian youth and the effects of climate change.
