2. Session Speakers

Elizabeth Nguyen
Elizabeth is a junior studying Electrical Engineering and the current president of Stanford XR. She has helped teach CS 11 as well as a new AR class utilizing Unity's AR Foundation to teach mobile development at Stanford. She has just finished an internship at Unity working as a product manager on the XR team and has worked within the medical XR realm on multiple projects.

Emilie Joly
Emilie Joly is an award-winning interaction designer and the CEO of apelab, a Software Company based in Los Angeles and Geneva she co-founded with two of her former university classmates. She and her team innovates in the field of design, education and play. They are currently leading the development of Zoe; a learning platform allowing students and teachers to connect and create interactive 3D worlds from anywhere. Created on top of the Unity Game Engine, Zoe aims at bridging the gap in student engagement around the globe by providing teachers with tools and resources to make learning more creative and engaging!

Khoi Le
Khoi recently graduated from Stanford University, where he designed his own major focused on VR/AR. During his time there, he helped grow the Stanford XR club from 12 students in a basement to a massive club with programs touching hundreds of students and faculty across the university. Most notably, he started CS11: How to Make VR, a student-led course offered by Stanford's CS department that has now taught over 100 undergrads, Master's students, MBAs, and Ph. D's the basics of creating and designing XR applications. Khoi has worked on XR at leading companies like STRIVR and Apple.

Sean Wybrant
Sean Wybrant currently teaches computer science, video game design, and interactive technologies in Colorado Springs. He develops learning experiences that enable students to create impactful project-based learning experiences in XR. Sean was recognized as the 2017 Colorado Teacher of the Year for guiding students of all backgrounds and abilities to achieve excellence.
