Use the Unity Reflect Review Viewer

Design reviews take place throughout the entire lifecycle of a project. Without a shared, collaborative environment, it takes a lot of time and effort for decisions to get made. Unity Reflect Review allows you to easily bring your design models into an immersive experience in AR and VR to facilitate interactive real-time design reviews.

Languages available:

1. Open the Reflect Viewer

Follow these steps to open and use the unity Reflect Viewer application


1. Start the Reflect Review Viewer. The login screen will open, prompting you to log in with your Unity account.


Note: The available projects in the Viewer will depend on the projects assigned to the account the user logs in with.



2. Select the project you wish to open.



3. The project model will be streamed to the Viewer.




4. Once the model is loaded, take some time to familiarize yourself with the interface.


You can navigate the scene in the following ways:


  • Use the left-mouse button to orbit the scene.

  • Use the right-mouse button to rotate the camera.

You can also use the keyboard for standard game-based movement:


  • W - move forward

  • S - move backward

  • A - move left

  • D - move right

  • E - move up

  • Q - move down

2. Explore the Viewer

The Viewer provides different tools to assist you in exploring and evaluating your design. These tools are hosted in three menu bars at the top, on the left and right side of the Viewer.


1) Open the Unity Reflect Viewer



The following functions and tools are available in the Viewer application:


  1. Open a new project

  1. Open the BIM filters

  1. Open scene settings

  1. Open the sun study options

  1. Add comments to the scene

  1. Orbit the scene

  1. Rotate the camera in place

  1. Display BIM information

  1. Open the time of day and location settings

  1. Measuring tool

  1. Open the different viewing options:

  • Walk mode, which allows you to walk around the scene in first-person view.

  • Fly mode, which allows you to fly around the scene in first-person view.

  • Virtual reality (requires tethered headset).

  • Augmented reality (only on mobile devices).
