Creator Kit: Beginner Code 2022.3 Common Cartridge File

In this activity, students customize their own 3D role-play video games using Unity technology and C# computer coding. All activity assets and step-by-step tutorials are included, helping learners to get started quickly. By the end of the project, students will have customized their own playable 3D games and have gained a better understanding of scripting, variables, functions, and classes. 

Below you can download a CSV outline and a Common Cartridge file for this course.


Open the CSV outline in spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets) for a summary of all content in the course, with links to each tutorial, exercise, and quiz.


Use the Common Cartridge file to import the course content into your Learning Management System (such as Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, etc.). See instructions from your LMS provider for importing Common Cartridge files.

No coding experience? No problem! In this beginner project, you’ll explore the basics of C# code for Unity in the context of an action RPG. 

To get the most out of this project, you’ll have completed one of the three introductory Creator Kits (

), so you can apply your knowledge of the Unity Editor and focus on customizing the game with scripts.

Important: This learning content requires at least Unity 2019.2, and will not work correctly on older versions.

Just a test space and learning tool for an A-RPG

Can you master your Moose? This is just a test environment to practice scripting for an actual game I'm working on. It runs like utter trash on play.unity. Literally, 0 optimizations were done. I cannot emphasize enough this is just to test inventory, item, stat, and other RPG elements.
