Overview:
If you create something in the Unity EdLab Editor that you want to share with others or take to another device, you have the ability to export projects and assets and download them to your computer. This tutorial will teach you how to export.
Project Outcome:
Learn how to export files from the session to your computer.
1. A note for educators
Please note that educators have access to all student drives by accessing ‘Student Files', also known as the H:// drive. With this in mind, know that it is unnecessary for students to follow these steps when it’s time to submit projects. This tutorial is intended for students and educators who would like to download assets or projects for use on their personal computers or a different device.
2. Copy your files to the Temporary Folder
Use the File Explorer to navigate to the folder or files you want to export. If you have multiple files, put them together in one folder.
Right-click your folder and select ‘Copy’.
Then navigate to the ‘Temporary Files’ folder, right-click and select ‘Paste’.
3. Zip your files
Right-click your folder > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.

4. Download the zipped folder
Click the folder icon from the menu, then double-click the ‘Temporary Files’ folder.

Inside you will see your zipped folder. Click the drop-down arrow on the right side, then click ‘Download’.
