Understand the beta testing process
Languages available:
1. Welcome and thanks
Thank you for offering your support as a beta tester! Your time and effort will help us make this course as engaging and valuable as possible for educators who will take it. Your feedback is critical as we develop and improve this course. There are a few elements of this beta version of the course that will be different from the final public product:
- The first week of the finished course launches on the 13th of July and the subsequent 3 units will be released week-by-week after that. For this beta version, we will release all of the learning content in the same week (weeks 1/2 on Wednesday and weeks 3/4 on Thursday) for you to move through at your own pace.
- This beta version will not include Learn Live virtual sessions. You can, however, register for those sessions on the course page and join us when the course launches. We hope you do! Sign up here (please! We’d love to see you there!): https://create.unity3d.com/unity-for-educators-jul20
- Without Learn Live sessions, we estimate the course will take roughly 9 hours to complete.
- Please aim to complete the course and submit feedback to us by Thursday, July 9th.
Thank you again for your time and support!
2. Feedback
There are two methods for providing feedback:
Completing a google form at the end of each "week"

This form will ask you to reflect on the overall experience of the "week" and provide feedback on positives and areas for improvement.
The form is anonymous so be honest and don't hold back!
Using the comment section

This will give you a chance to note any issues or other thoughts as you go. These comments will specific to individual pieces of content and are optional but very helpful.
