This project will focus on simple modifications that can be created to enhance the overall functionality of the Reflect Viewer based on commonly requested use-cases. By working through this project, learners will better understand how the viewer works from a technical perspective and will be able to use the modification exercises as a launch point for new functionality of their own.

 This first project will focus on augmenting the appearance and existing functionality of the Reflect Viewer for purposes such as matching a company’s brand. Learners will explore how the Viewer Prefab is set up and how to modify its components. By the end of this project, Learners will be able to make cosmetic changes to the Reflect viewer in order to customize it to meet their own group’s branding. 

Modifying the Viewer

This final project will guide participants through the process of publishing their customized viewers to the platforms of their choice. Each section will briefly cover optimization considerations and any platform specific limitations before walking through each step required for creating a build. By the end of this project, learners will be able to publish their custom Reflect application to any supported platform. 

Publishing for Different Platforms

 left off, Basic Reflect Customization is a course designed for Unity developers who are ready to integrate Reflect into their development pipelines. The course begins by deep diving into the anatomy of the Reflect viewer out of the box before moving into how to make simple customizations to match the look and feel of a company's existing branding. Learners will then explore how to add some of the most asked for functionality to the default viewer, including creating construction sequences, adjusting model materials, and changing the time of day. The course will close with instruction on how to publish to different platforms, including mobile and VR.
