What's up, guys -- huge PG fan and programmer, here. I've been working on an asset to help designers generate maps and items similar to how the Diablo series builds maps.

It took a year or so, but I finally released it to the Asset Store -- it's called ProcMod, and can build modular maps/items with a decent amount of freedom and configuration.

Working on my next game, I decided to go procedural and get to meet Perlin Noise.

Perlin Noise is awesome for all kind of procedural generated content. But in order to achieve good looking result, I had to combine multiples layers of it. So I created this Layered Perlin Noise tool (available on the asset store) that allow to stack and combine multiples layers of noise using different fusion modes.

I added this sample terrain generation with basic rules to check how terrains are looking for based of the tool output.
