Have you ever had a great game idea, but didn't have the proper concept art to create the scenes that you envision? If so, then the Game Environment Concept Art Fundamentals is ideal the project for you. First, you'll discover how to sketch out your idea. Then you'll explore how to setup a model for 3D. Finally, you'll learn how to paint over and finish up. By the end of this project you will have finished the concept design of a throne room and you will have learned the skills to start conceptualizing your fantasy world.
Software required: Photoshop CC, ZBrush

Project Objective
By the end of this project, you will have:
  • Sketched out your idea and mapped out your research.
  • Setup your environment for 3D by blocking out your design in ZBrush.
  • Added details to your design.
  • Prepared for paintover by adding base colors in ZBrush then exporting your renders to Photoshop.
  • Painted your model in Photoshop.
