In this module, we're going to build the open cutscene in Unity. Finally, we will put everything together in Timeline and experiment with having our cutscene play both automatically and via a trigger.

Building the Opening Cut Scene

Creating the First Cinemachine Camera
It's time to get into the editor and reference the storyboard that we made in the last tutorial.

Completing Camera Creation
Create the remaining cameras using the storyboard.

Creating the First Camera Shot in Timeline
Start working with Timeline to create the panning animations.

Completing the Rough Cut Sequence
Build out the remaining shot animations

Adding Character Animation
Next, bringing our character in from off screen and stop at the beginning of the level.

Make sure that your player can't interact with the game during the cutscene.

Now, take a look at what your final cutscene looks like.

As a final exercise, explore how to change the present system from a cutscene that plays as soon as the level starts to something that plays when it is triggered by your player somehow.
