Challenge 3: Add Reverb Zones to Customize the Environment's Effect on the Audio

Learn to create reverb zones and mix the audio to configure a custom audio experience that emulates the physics of real world audio

Languages available:

1. Setting up Reverb Zones

  • Create a new Audio Reverb Zone ( Create > Audio > AudioReverbZone) named AudioReverbZone_Underpass and position and scale it under the walkway in the scene.

  • With the newly created GameObject selected, change the Reverb Preset to Cave to create an echo type sound for the underpass area.

  • Create another AudioReverb Zone named AudioReverbZone_Underwater and position and scale it in the roundabout fountain.

  • Configure the Audio Reverb Zone to use the Underwater Reverb Preset.

  • Test out these areas in play mode by walking into the Reverb Zones.
