Summary
This lab reviews the use of Area Lights, Reflection Probes, and Baking Lighting to both increase the realism of your scene, and maintain performance. The Area Lights provide a much more realistic lighting solution, casting light evenly in a specified area (similar to a window or large screen). By adding the Reflection Probes, you increase the accuracy of the reflective materials in the scene. And finally, with Light baking, you increase the accuracy of the building’s lighting while maintaining your application’s performance. Without baking the scene’s lights, your model would not perform well on the Oculus Go.

Streaming Lab
