This module will cover Maps. We're first going to look at what a level map is. So if you've ever played a platformer or a 2D game that might have different levels that you need to play, the way that it kind of ties it together is to have a large map that has levels that you can go into. Those levels we can use with buttons. If we create buttons, then you can use them for navigation. We'll also talk about minimaps. Usually, this is the thing that hovers on one of the corners of your game as an overlay. Minimap is short for miniature map. We use these to orient our player to their environment. So this works very well in anything like a 3D game. We'll create our minimap on the UI layer.
