Creating character animation is fun and easy once you know all the steps, so that's what we're going to focus on in this course, how to get your character animated in Maya and exported into Unity so that you can bounce back and forth between the two programs and edit your performance for maximum impact. First we'll start in Maya learning how to use the rig to move your character into different poses to set up the sequences or animation clips. Then we'll work through our first animation clip, the jump. And then we'll move onto more animation clips like melee, and transitions, and locomotion. And then we'll learn how to roundtrip between Unity and Maya and use both programs together to edit your performance to maximum effect in game.
