In this live series you will get up and running with Unity and gain foundational knowledge preparing you to create your own interactive worlds. First, you will install Unity and explore the LEGO® Microgame. Then you will work on and customize a classic 2D platformer. Finally, you will modify and customize a Kart Racing game, all while mastering the basics of Unity.  Unity Essentials Live begins Monday, February 14, 2021 at 9 am PT and will take place Mondays and Thursdays through February 24, 2021.

In this live learning session, you will work on a classic 2D platformer game that you can mod and make your own. You will add your own creative mods to tweak the project and add your own levels, while learning the basics of Unity.

This live series is the perfect companion to the Unity Essentials Pathway. Follow the pathway to get started in Unity, learn about the world of real-time development, and begin your first projects. You can work through the pathway first, or attend this series first. The activities in the Unity Editor are entirely different, so doing both will only add to your learning experience!
