Unity 6: Multiplayer Creation
Unity 6 includes several new multiplayer creation tools that will help you quickly test and build multiplayer-enabled projects. In this course, we will take a look at these new tools and how they can be used to quickly build multiplayer-enabled projects.We’ll start by taking a look at the Multiplayer Center, which guides you through and installs recommended netcode packages. From there, we will set up and configure a basic multiplayer-enabled scene with Netcode for GameObjects and use Multiplayer Play Mode to simulate network users. Finally, we’ll take a look at various Multiplayer Widgets that help you rapidly prototype your multiplayer projects. By the end of this course, you will be able to: Leverage Unity’s new Multiplayer Center. Use Multiplayer Play Mode to simulate network users. Work with basic Netcode for GameObjects (NGO) functionality. Use Multiplayer Widgets to quickly prototype content.
